For our backyard “transformation” They brought in Groundworks to design and plant the garden while he and the team worked with us on the design of our multi-level deck and patio that incorporated the architectural elements and historic materials from our brownstone. New York Decks collaborated with us and worked not only with the space but within our budget. Their mastery of design and understanding of materials has given us an outdoor living space that we love. We now have one problem — when guests come for dinner, they love the space so much, no one wants to leave!

Our basement was dusty, leaking, dark, and unusable. The New York Decks team have made it clean, bright, and functional. We use the space now for a home gym, storage, and a workshop. With all the rain we’ve had in the last year, we have had no water in the basement — not even a hint of moisture.

The team is professional, hard working, reliable, and good humored. All of the workmanship has been excellent. It was a pleasure having them around. Also, everything was clean and neat at the end of each day; they took care in covering our floors. There was never any damage.

With over 600 sf of outdoor space to work with we iterated among multiple options for the layout and materials, eventually settling on porcelain and a perfectly placed step.
